DUO

Try the experience of a duo marathon! Each contestant will run a loop of the Marathon route: one half-marathon for each while sharing a beautiful moment!

THE RACE

Situé Quai Louis Durand, SAS n°4, pour TOUS les duos.
Relay zone Parvis Eric Tabarly (next to Aquarium)

9 refreshment points, liquid and solid, at km 4.5, 9.5, 14.5, 19.5, relay, 25, 30.5, 35, 40.5 and on the finish area.
Deposit of personal supplies is possible on Sunday morning, before the race, directly at refreshment points.

2 technical tee-shirts and 2 medals to assemble Important : only the second runner crosses the finish line.

1 race number belt per team (with chrono chip): to be set on the back of the first runner, and transmitted to the second runner (still in their back) at the relay.
Real time ranking: timinig starts once the starting line is crossed.

Free tribune for spectators, with 500 seats, located on the finish area (St Jean d'Acre car park).

Free showers at the "Camping du Soleil" campsite (fast access by the boat bus, free for runners on Sunday).

At the finish area exit, «rue de La Monnaie» street, columns bearing the names of the islands Ré, Oléron and Aix, will help runners find their family and friends.

RACE ROUTE

The Duo route is identical to the Marathon one. The first runner will run a 21.7km circuit all the way to the relay zone Eric Tabarly esplanade. The second runner must continue for 20.5 km to the finishing line, on Saint Jean d’Acre promenade. Every 2km, music will accompany the race with one of our 12 bands.

RACE ROUTE

Le parcours du Duo est identique à celui du Marathon. Le premier coureur effectue une première boucle de 21,8 km jusqu’au Parvis Eric Tabarly, zone de relais. Il reste alors 20,4 km au 2ème coureur pour rejoindre la zone d’arrivée, esplanade St Jean d’Acre. Des animations rythment la course : 12 orchestres sont installés sur le parcours (tous les 2 km).

FAQ

The named number has to be put on the chest, readable and not folded. The race number holder must be in the back.

For safety reasons, it is not possible to accompany a registered runner on the race route.

For safety reasons, you can run with one headphone only.

There's a time limit to run the whole race, which is five hours and thirty minutes. Beyond this time limit, security will not be provided any longer, and contestants will be disqualified. A check point will be set at the 30. kilometre mark, where the time limit. for runners is four hours.  

The chip on your race number enables to record your time every 5 km. It is possible to follow your race by entering your name in a live-viewing facility, straight onto our website or via the free app Imagina. You will be able to access it 1 week before the race on our website.
