Le 16 janvier 2005, Serge Vigot, fondateur du Marathon de La Rochelle, disparaissait brutalement en participant au marathon de Marrakech.
Président de l’association depuis sa création en 1990, il avait su insuffler un dynamisme, une rigueur, une recherche de nouveautés à notre épreuve qu’il avait toujours voulue PCF (Populaire, Festive et Conviviale).
En sa mémoire, les membres de l’association ont donné son nom au Marathon de La Rochelle et créé, en 2005, la Chauffe Gambettes qui fêtera donc cette année ses 21 ans …

ville de La Rochelle à travers un parcours de 4 km.

Association Challenge
Take part in the "Chauffe-gambettes" (literally: Pins Warming up) run in teams!
Open to all associations, the challenge will reward the 3 winning teams with prizes, in partnership with Léa Nature, amounting to: 500€ for the first team, 300€ for the second, and 200€ for the third. The winners will be selected according to the number of participants and their originality (costume, animation...). Just gather the maximum number of runners, and sign up for the Challenge!
